Several variables affect how long it takes to return results from a background check—like the types of checks being run, delays in the counties being searched, or response times for verification services.

Some results are returned the same day, while some more comprehensive packages can sometimes take 3-5 days or longer to return results.

Background check packages that search county records can sometimes take longer for reasons beyond our control. Some county courthouses don't have electronic records, and some require in-person searches. And with all these variables, unavoidable delays sometimes happen (in some places more often than others).

Candidates, you can log in to your profile and see what is left to complete. If it is still in Created status, you need to submit your information to have it start processing.
