Integrating Yardstik and Bullhorn
Gather your Bullhorn API Username and Corporation ID (normally, this is a four or five-digit code) by submitting a ticket to Bullhorn Support, also specifying that you will use this to set up the Yardstik integration.
Next, generate a Bullhorn API Password from within the Bullhorn platform
Save this information somewhere safe and navigate to the Yardstik platform
Configure the integration in Yardstik
In the left navigation, click on Developer Tools > Integrations
Click the “+” on the Bullhorn Integration Card
Generate your Yardstik api_key, then copy/paste it somewhere safe
Paste your Bullhorn Corporation ID, API Username, and API Password into the appropriate fields on the integration card
Click Update
Flip the toggle to enable the integration
Sign in to Bullhorn
Navigate to Bullhorn and sign in
Open the menu and select Admin, then choose View layout
Select Candidate from the Field Map Entity menu
Click on Custom Tabs
Create a new Custom Tab and name it Yardstik Background Check
Check the Enabled checkbox
In the URL field, paste this URL with your API Key at the end https://api.yardstik.com/bullhorn/YOUR API KEY/tab
Assign the User Types that you want to be able to access the ability to order and view background check reports
Click Save
That’s it! Now you’re ready to order a background check report from Yardstik
Order a background check
In Bullhorn:
Open the menu and select Candidates
Select a candidate by clicking on their name
Click on the Yardstik Background Check tab
Select a background check package - this menu will include the Account Packages set up for your account during Yardstik onboarding
Choose whether you want Yardstik to invite your candidate or send them a link yourself
Verify the pre-filled candidate details (First Name, Last Name, and Email Address)
Click ORDER
Reports ordered for this candidate will also display in this tab.
If you choose to have yardstick invite your candidate, they will receive an email invitation from us to fill out the required info for the Background Check Package
If you choose to send a link yourself, copy the “Candidate Application Link” and provide it to your candidate. This will allow them to fill out the required info for the Background Check Package

Authentication Failed error message
If you are seeing this message in Bullhorn and it is stating you need to update your username and password, it's a quick solve!
Log in to Yardstik directly
Click on the Bullhorn integration tile. This will refresh the integration connection and you can continue using Bullhorn to order reports.
