You have sent a report invite to a candidate already, great! But maybe it no longer needs to be completed or they need a longer timeframe to complete it. Here are 2 easy ways to handle this.
Cancel an invite
A report invite can be canceled if the candidate has not yet submitted their personal information (Invite statuses of Clicked, Viewed, Expired).
Under the Actions column click on the ellipses (3 dots) and select Cancel Invitation. The candidate’s link will no longer be active, and the report will enter a status of Canceled.
Or, if you are viewing details within a candidate report, you can Cancel from there.
Refresh an Expired report invite
A report invite can be resent to a candidate by using the Refresh option, which resends the report invite and allows them more time to complete.
Under the Actions column click on the ellipses (3 dots) and select Refresh Invite. The candidate’s original report invitation link will once again be accessible.
Or, if you are viewing details within a candidate report, you can Refresh from there.
At this point the “expiration timer” will begin once again, the time frame can be edited in Account > Notifications > edit the number of days until an invitation expires.
FAQ
I do not see the ellipses (3 dots) in the Actions column
It is likely that the reports were originally created via an integration from another system. Because of this, the Refresh and Cancel functions are not available.
You can send the Apply URL directly to your candidate in lieu of Refresh Invite.
You can message the Yardstik Support team to Cancel report invites. Please make sure to list candidate email addresses in your message.
